MO has adopted new proposals in order to enhance the safety of Lifeboat Release and Retrieval Systems (LRRS), with the purpose of preventing accidents during the launching of lifeboats.
As per MSC circ. 1392 states that All Lifeboat Release And retrieval system must be compliant. by the first Scheduled dry docking After 1st July 2014 and no later than July 2019.
